Background
In 2024, Ukraine experienced a severe energy crisis, with homes, businesses, and industries in many regions facing prolonged power outages. High electricity prices also became a monthly headache.
For our client Ms. Diana, the power outages meant her office building struggled to maintain basic operations, factory production lines were halted, and construction delays occurred—resulting in financial losses of up to $25,000 per month. Despite this, her monthly electricity bill remained around $4,000. Finally, she decided to install solar system to break this dilemma. After consulting with local solar company, she provided the preliminary design to us, but with lingering doubts: Could the proposed systems truly deliver the reliability her businesses needed?
UE Solar Solution
After receiving Ms. Diana's energy needs, our technical team conducted a comprehensive audit of her company's location, and analyzed 12 months of energy usage data, its roof structure, and its previous grid outage records. Finally, we designed two upgraded solar solutions for her:
For factory: A 300kW on-grid solar system optimized to generate 900 kWh daily—matching the facility’s daytime consumption. By synchronizing with the grid during stable periods and prioritizing solar usage, the system eliminates 100% of the factory’s grid electricity dependence.
For office complex: A 150kW hybrid system paired with a 204.8kWh lithium battery storage system. Producing 450 kWh daily, the setup powers the office during daylight hours, while extra energy charges the batteries—creating a 12-hour backup reserve that keeps computers, security systems, and essential equipment operational during blackouts.
