Project Focus:
Situated in high-latitude regions, Russia experiences significant seasonal variations in solar elevation angles—with low sun trajectories in winter and near-zenith angles in summer—making it challenging for fixed-tilt mounting structures to achieve optimal annual power generation. This project adopts an automatically adjustable-angle PV mounting structure that dynamically adjusts the module tilt angle according to seasonal changes, maximizing year-round light capture efficiency.
- Automatic Tracking Adjustment: The mounting structure incorporates a built-in angle adjustment mechanism that automatically changes the tilt angle in response to seasonal solar elevation variations (e.g., increasing the tilt angle in winter to capture low-angle sunlight, and decreasing it in summer to prevent overheating), boosting annual energy yield by 15%–25% compared to fixed-tilt structures.
- Adaptation to High-Latitude Light Characteristics: Combined with the high conversion efficiency and low-light response capability of the 720W TOPCon bifacial modules, this solution further optimizes power generation performance during short winter daylight hours, ensuring energy supply stability under extreme climatic conditions.
- Energy Storage for Winter Demand: The 14.33kWh storage system effectively stores daytime generation to meet peak electricity demand during Russia's long winter nights, significantly improving the self-consumption rate.
