Background
An American customer in the bitcoin mining industry hoped to install a solar power station in the Tonopah area to provide stable power to a large local data center and save electricity costs. Due to the project’s remote location, the system operates completely off-grid, with the data center power consumption entirely supplied by this photovoltaic (PV) system.
In addition to the energy storage system that the customer has already installed, it is now crucial for him to choose high-quality solar panels and a high-quality and stable mounting system. He hopes to maximize the power generation of the system and help him design a complete solar solution to match his energy storage system.

Based on the customer's 3.6MWh energy storage system, we designed a 1.8MW photovoltaic installation for the customer. Using UE's best-selling HJT technology 720W bifacial solar panels, the efficiency is up to 23.18%, and the daily power generation can reach 7.2MWH.

Strict control for quality
All panels have passed 3 times EL tests, 2 times visual check and IV / power test. We guarantee A-Grade quality and 0 to +5W power tolerance.
At the same time, the test report can be provided for each panel when production is done. And we support production inspection, including raw material testing, production process supervision, and finished product quality inspection after production.
Maximize power generation
UE engineers matched Tonopah’s latitude and ultimately calculated that the optimal angle of the ground mounting bracket was 55 degrees. Hot-dip galvanized steel for corrosion resistance, supporting 12 modules (2 rows x 6 panels) per bracket for efficient installation.

This solar solution, integrating high-efficiency HJT technology, rigorous quality control, and optimized structural design, ensures the Tonopah data center enjoys reliable, cost-effective power generation while maximizing the synergy with the existing 3.6MWh energy storage system.
Conclusion
This 1.8MW solar solution harness HJT technology’s 23.18% efficiency and 7.2MWh daily output, the system no need to rely on local grid, significantly reducing the data station’s operation cost. The 30-year power warranty on bifacial panels—paired with corrosion-resistant hot-dip galvanized mounts designed for 30+ years of operation—ensures long-term environmental stewardship.
It isn’t just an energy solution; it’s a legacy investment in Tonopah’s green future, powering critical data center operations while paving the way for a carbon-neutral infrastructure that balances technological innovation with environmental responsibility.
